A scholarship student at the Art Institute of Chicago, David Tutwiler graduated with a major in Fine Art. He has placed in the Top 100 of the National Park Academy for the Arts and is currently working on a book about the late Charles Vickery, seascapist, who was his partner and good friend for many years and a major influence on his career.
